ABOUT LEGENDS AND DEMON

Legends and Demons is more than a studio. It’s a declaration: that living cultures, especially the oldest ones, have not vanished they’ve simply been unheard. Founded within Ireland’s Traveller community, we create original, cross-platform work designed for healing, challenge, and wonder.

Emotional, Artistic, and Imaginative Decolonisation

This studio stands on the premise that decolonisation is not just political. It’s emotional, artistic, and imaginative. Our stories are crafted through Gaelic survivalism—a creative response to erasure, marginalisation, and the myth of disappearance.

We build mythologies rooted in Indigenous knowledge, layered with science, history, and emotional truth. They’re designed not only to reach global audiences, but to reconnect communities to their own power, memory, and creativity.

WHY ART MATTERS HERE

Ireland has long been a treasure trove of mythology, mysticism, and narrative power but too often, these stories have been used elsewhere, commodified for tourism, exported to boost foreign industries, while the core communities remain excluded or invisible.

Legends and Demons is a response to that drift. It is an act of cultural stewardship of reclaiming story as a force for mental health, spiritual wellbeing, and community regeneration. We use art not only as resistance, but as medicine.

Here, the creative process isn’t performative. It’s transformative.

A WORLD OF FANTASTICAL IMAGINATIONS

This studio is anchored in storytelling that touches both sky and soil. Our projects blend science fiction with oral history, children’s tales with ancestral knowledge, and education with wonder.

Where creativity challenges exclusion and reclaims authorship

Narrative hybrids of cultural wisdom and modern insight

Stories that awaken empathy, spark curiosity, and build cultural bridges

Each label is a portal an invitation to reimagine what stories can do in the world.

WE ARE THE LAST CLANS STANDING

We come from communities that have survived erasure, displacement, and stereotype. But we haven’t just endured—we’ve evolved. Our roots run deep, and our vision is clear.

We don’t have time for clichés. We’re here to write, draw, code, and produce a future led by Indigenous intelligence, creative ethics, and shared ownership.

This is copy for the community, by the community—with doors open wide to anyone willing to build with respect and authenticity.
